Users confirm acceptance of these terms by submitting a booking request. Rejection prevents proceeding with reservations.
1. Definitions
I am Antonio Šakić, the service operator at taxisibenik.hr. "Customer" describes anyone requesting a booking through the website, email, or WhatsApp. "Passenger" refers to the person transported. "Booking" means a confirmed reservation after advance payment. "Transfer" describes a private taxi ride between specified locations.
2. Booking Procedure
Reservations occur through the online form, email, or WhatsApp (+385 99 447 1013). A booking request becomes confirmed only after advance payment arrives and written email confirmation is received. Customers must be at least 18 years old. Customers must verify all details (pickup, destination, date, time, passenger count) for accuracy. Bookings should be made 24+ hours before transfer; peak season (June to September) requires earlier booking for availability. Website prices apply to online bookings only.
3. Payment Policy
Advance payment confirms all bookings. For transfers over €20, the deposit is 20% (minimum €20). Transfers at €20 or below require full advance payment. Customers may pay full amounts regardless of price. The remaining balance is due upon arrival. Payment methods include bank transfer (SEPA) or credit/debit card. Instructions follow by email.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Written email cancellations apply these refunds:
- Over 72 hours before: full refund for bank transfer, full minus €10 processing fee for card
- 72 hours or less: no refund
- No-show: no refund
The €10 deduction covers non-recoverable payment processing charges retained by card networks. Rescheduling anytime before departure incurs no extra charge; advance payment transfers fully to the new date. Cancellations made by me receive full refunds regardless of payment method.
5. No-Show Policy
Customers or passengers absent from pickup 15 minutes after the agreed time without notice constitute no-shows. No refunds apply. Airport and ferry pickups allow reasonable waiting during documented delays at no extra charge.
6. Changes to Booking
Changes to date, time, or route require written early submission. Availability must be confirmed in writing. Higher revised prices require payment of the difference before confirmation. Lower prices result in refunds or balance deductions.
7. Passenger Obligations
Passengers must follow Croatian traffic laws and my instructions as driver. Intoxication or substance impairment is prohibited; refusal to comply occurs without refund. Seatbelts are required. Smoking and vaping are prohibited. Eating or drinking requires prior agreement, except sealed water. Passenger-caused damage is invoiced to the customer. Child seats are available upon request with the child's age and weight; availability is not guaranteed.
8. Luggage
Standard allowance includes one suitcase and hand luggage per passenger. Oversized items (bicycles, surfboards, large strollers) require declaration at booking. Undeclared oversized items may be refused.
9. Vehicle and Safety
My vehicle is maintained, roadworthy, and legally insured. Vehicle substitution occurs if technically necessary, with an equivalent or better category. I follow Croatian traffic laws; requests to exceed speed limits are declined.
10. Liability
Liability is limited to direct transfer costs. I am not liable for delays from traffic, weather, closures, ferry or flight delays, or force majeure. Customers bear responsibility for allowing sufficient travel time to connections. I hold no liability for missed flights or ferries. Breakdowns receive alternative vehicle arrangements.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data processing follows GDPR and Croatian law. Booking form data (name, email, phone, pickup, destination) serves transfer fulfillment only. Full details appear in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
Croatian law governs these terms. Disputes first seek amicable resolution; jurisdiction defaults to Šibenik courts. The Croatian version prevails in disputes or interpretation ambiguities.
13. Amendments
I reserve the right to amend these terms. Website-published versions apply to their respective bookings. Continued use of the service after amendments constitutes acceptance.
